With the season winding down, the Traxxas Series heads to the Superspeedway of Talladega. with the NSRA bringing in a radically different chassis to the race, no one knew exactly what to expect. Zach Michael won the pole and after leading a lap, dropped to the back and the race was on for first. In a race that saw 22 lead changes, 2 shy of the record, it was anyone's race. Green flag stops came and the field broke up with only 4 cars in the lead pack. The first caution came out with less than 20 to go when Steven Davis wrecked in turn 3. The race restarted and was quickly back under yellow when the big one ensued in the tri oval, when Mike Carroll bumped the back of Mark Murphy and Murphy was sent into the wall and was T-Boned by Steven Davis, sending both cars upside down. On the restart Zach and Rob Scarberry hooked up and held off Mike Tellier for the 1-2 finish.

Congrats to Rob on his win, see you next week at Music City!
