After 4 races, the Truck Series makes it's return to the Tricky Triangle, Pocono Raceway. Alex Crapser won the pole but after sliding through turn 3, Zach Michael was able to take the lead, and held the top spot for just over the entire first half of the race. However, as the run wore on, Mike Tellier and Crapser worked together to get around the #14 for the top 2 spots. With only 15 laps to go, green flag pit stops occurred. Tellier and Crapser both took 2 tires while Michael and Scarberry took 4. Scarberry got caught speeding, ending his chances to win, and in the end Michael's too. As the final laps ticked off, Crapser held off Tellier, who had draft help from teammate Mark Murphy. Crapser hung on to win his first race in the NSRA. As a side note, this is the first NSRA sanctioned race to go flag to flag with no yellow flags (good job guys!!)
Congrats to Alex on his win and see you all next week for Bristol!
