Truck Series: Lurking in The Weeds - 29 July 2013 - National Sim Racing Association

For the 4th race of the season, the Truck Series returned to Rockingham Speedway. Zach Michael won the pole for the event and lead early along with Mark Guthrie and Mike Carroll. Michael was able to retake the lead but not for long as Mike Tellier took the top spot away from the #14. Tellier pulled out to a huge lead on the field followed by Steven Davis. As the laps wore on, tires started to wear out as Davis fell out of the top 5 along with Mike Carroll. Tellier's lead also shrunk as the laps wore on. Michael had been running mid pack for most of the night saving tires and was able to run down Tellier and get by him for the lead. Michael was able to manage his tires well enough to pick up his 3rd win of the season.
