In week 2 of the Truck Series season, the series makes a return to Mansfield Motorsports Park in Ohio. This being the series first race at the half mile oval in almost a year. Mike Tellier won the pole with teammate Mark Murphy on the outside. After a lap 1 caution, both SDR teammates pitted, handing the lead over to Zach Michael. Later in the race Tellier was one of the fastest trucks in the field but handling issues ended his night 100 laps into the 150 lap event. Michael continued leading on the final run of the night but was not alone at the front. Murphy and Alex Crapser were both closing in on the #14. On the white flag lap, Michael had a lead of just under a second and Crapser dove under Murphy heading into Turn 1. Down the back the #98 pulled ahead of Crapser but the #28 made another dive for 2nd and overshot the turn allowing Murphy to re-take and secure a 2nd place finish. Michael would hang on for the win, leading 147 laps.
