In week 4 of the season the Trucks head to Talladega SuperSpeedway for the 8th running of the MTN Dew 200. Mike Tellier won the pole and looked to be one of the favorite to win, however his night was ended when Mark Guthrie bumped Zach Michael in the tri-oval, sending Zach into Mike and flipping him over. The race continued on with Bronson Stafford leading the race. While running three wide Austin Jensen bounced off of Nigel Thiy and went into Steven Davis, bringing out the caution. During the caution period, Steven and Austin both took turns taking each other out and were both called to the NSRA Hauler following the race. The race continued on with Zach Michael leading the way but 10 laps to go Stafford gave the 14 a shove in the tri oval, sending him down across the inside line and almost wiping out the entire front four. Luckily Zach was able to save his truck while going three wide in the tri-oval. Stafford went on to lead the rest of the race and win his first NSRA race.
Congrats to Bronson on his win and thanks to everyone who raced. See you all Wednesday for another 94 laps of Talladega, and Monday for trucks at Memphis!
