The Traxxas Series made it's debut at the thigh banked short track of Music City tonight. John Battista looked for redemption follow the Memphis race. Battista won the pole and was running away with the race. However just past halfway, Battista pulled off the track and quit due to a wrist injury. Mark Murphy then assumed the lead. Murphy dominated the race after Battista parked and was able to hang on for the victory, his 2nd win of the season. Zach Michael continues to lead the points by a narrow 5 over teammate Rob Scarberry.
